Declaration
We know that Calvin Solet wrongly tried to escape from being arrested, but the officer's death was an accidental drowning. We also believe that he did not have a fair trial beacuse we did not have adequate funds to hire a proffesional criminal law attorney to represent him and important evidence was excluded from his case and both the District Attorney and the Public Defender did not examine all the evidence which could have avoided a conviction of first degree murder.

We are not just protesting for Calvin Solet,we are protesting for all individuals in Terrebonne Parish in the state of Louisiana who are wrongly accused and treated unfairly.

A criminal defense can be extremely expensive and can bankrupt anyone. If a person is not properly defended,he can be found guilty and spend years in prison for a crime he or she did not commit.
