From: Nicholas Chancey To: CommitteeForJustice@hotmail.com Subject: Calvin Solet case Date: Sun, 23 Jan 2000 13:05:33 -0500 (EST) Hello, my name is Nicholas Chancey, and I am in New London, Connecticut. I have actively been following the case for as long as it has been going on, and I did write a letter to the editor of The Courier that I would appreciate if you added to your collection of those of Billiot and Porcieau, as I am sure that the other supporters who wrote letters would like to add their letters to your page. I will include it in another email, along with those whose letters aren't on your page. I am not connected in any way, shape or form, to Calvin, his family, or anyone in the Committee For Justice, but I can assure you that you, the supporters of this worthy cause, have at least one friend in distant lands. I do feel that Calvin has been wrongly convicted, and even here in Connecticut, people are hearing of the injustice done to this young man. Although I am somewhat restricted by my military affiliation, I am doing my best to inform the locals and fellow military members of the wrongdoings of a young man and gathering support from people across America via the internet. Your efforts are not in vain. I applaud you for creating this organization and not letting small town politics ruin the life of those who are innocent. As a side note, I would like to meet with some leaders of the organization, or at least some of the supporters. I should be in the area on the 12th of February until I have to depart for transfer of duty station to Kings Bay, Georgia. Once again, I commend you on a job well done.
